Ricoh GR IV HDF คือ “สุดยอดกล้องสายสแนป” ที่เพิ่มลูกเล่นใหม่ ด้วยการติดตั้ง Highlight Diffusion Filter (HDF) ในตัว ช่วยกระจายแสงไฮไลต์ให้ดูนุ่ม ฟุ้ง เบลอเล็กน้อย สร้างอารมณ์ภาพที่ชวนฝัน ละมุน และให้ความรู้สึกย้อนยุคมากขึ้น
ฟิลเตอร์ HDF แบบเลือกเปิด–ปิดได้นี้ เข้ามาแทนที่ ND Filter ในรุ่นมาตรฐาน โดยสเปกหลักอื่น ๆ ยังคงเหมือนเดิม ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเซนเซอร์ 25.7MP BSI CMOS, เลนส์มุมกว้างเทียบเท่า 28mm, ระบบโฟกัสอัตโนมัติที่รวดเร็ว, ระบบกันสั่นที่พัฒนาแล้ว และการควบคุมไร้สายผ่านแอป GR WORLD
