Ricoh GR IV Monochrome คือกล้องคอมแพคเลนส์ฟิกซ์ที่ออกแบบมาเพื่อการถ่ายภาพขาว-ดำโดยเฉพาะ เป็นเวอร์ชันพิเศษของ GR IV ที่ใช้เซนเซอร์ซึ่งปรับแต่งให้บันทึกเฉพาะภาพขาว-ดำเท่านั้น มอบคาแรกเตอร์ภาพที่คมชัด มีมิติ และโทนสวยเป็นพิเศษ
นอกเหนือจากเซนเซอร์ขาว-ดำความละเอียด 25.7MP รุ่นนี้ยังมาพร้อม ฟิลเตอร์ Red Contrast ในตัว (แทนที่ ND Filter ของรุ่นปกติ), โหมด Image Control สำหรับขาว-ดำโดยเฉพาะ และดีไซน์ภายนอกโทนโมโนโครมทั้งตัว ส่วนคุณสมบัติหลักอื่น ๆ ยังคงเหมือน GR IV รุ่นมาตรฐาน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเลนส์เทียบเท่า 28mm, ระบบ AF ที่รวดเร็ว, ระบบกันสั่นที่พัฒนาขึ้น และการเชื่อมต่อไร้สายผ่านแอป GR WORLD
